Ride London Talk Series

Our comprehensive talk series has been designed by experienced British Cycling coaches and nutritionists to help you successfully conquer Ride London. We will share top tips on how to prepare for the event and proven training methods that work. Do you fall into one of these categories below?

Ride London Talk Series No.2

How to Achieve a Personal Best Time

Whether you have completed Ride London before and are looking for a PB this year OR whether you are new to Ride London and looking for help to achieve your target time, this talk is for you.

 

Join our head performance and British Cycling Coach for a comprehensive talk on how to get your best time at this year's Ride London!

You will receive top advice on a range of different topics including:

  • Easy wins to maximise and enhance your training,
  • Techniques to improve your hill climbing,
  • Key nutrition tips,
  • First hand experience on how to ride the 100 miles faster and so much more.

There will be a 15 minute Q&A at the end of the talk. It promises to be a great evening with loads of tips and advice on how to get your PB on the day!

Race Prep Essentials & Ride Strategy

You are well into your training, now it's time to switch your attention to what to expect on the day. A few key areas of proper preparation can have a big impact on your overall enjoyment on the day.

 

In this talk, suitable for all levels, we will take an in-depth look at:

  • The course itself,
  • Provide top tips and advice on the best way to ride the 100 miles,
  • Receive top nutritional and feed station strategies,
  • Key logistics to think about before, during and after the ride and more.

You will hear from our head performance and British Cycling Coach, a multi Ride London participant on his first hand experiences and how to deal with all eventualities.

There will also be a 15 minute Q&A at the end of the talk.
