Throughout the 3 week tour, the 3 general classification competitions are expected to be hotly contested, with our coveted Giro d'Njinga jerseys up for grabs. But how can you win valuable points towards these jerseys?

Pink Jersey (General Classification):

The Pink jersey is the most prestigious jersey of the Giro d’Njinga 2018 and is awarded to the male and female who can accumulate the most number of Kilometres during the 3 weeks of the Grand Tour. All wattbike classes on the Njinga timetable will count toward your total kilometres.

At the end of the 3 weeks the female AND the male who have covered the most distance on the wattbike will win our coveted Giro d'Njinga pink jersey. Tip - To be in with a chance of winning this jersey attend as many classes as you can throughout the 3 weeks.

Cyclamen Jersey (Sprint Champion):

The Cyclamen jersey of the Giro d’Njinga 2018 is for the Sprinting King and Queen of the Njinga Lab! This jersey is for the big sprinters with huge top end power for specific challenge segments allocated across the weekly timetable.

You will win points in designated sprint classes on the schedule by achieving the highest average power in selected segments. 10 points will be awarded to the male and female with the highest average power, 7 points will be awarded to the male and female in 2nd place and 5 points for 3rd place.
