How to set up and pair Spivi remote software

We are excited to announce that we can now use the Spivi software remotely for our online classes. This will give you access to the same live data experience as the lab, plus the post class performance stats but from the comfort of your own home.

All CLASSES WILL BE USING THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ZOOM CONFERENCE LINK. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO DOWNLOAD THE SOFTWARE TO GET THE BEST EXPERIENCE BUT IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL TO TAKE PART IN THE ONLINE SESSION.

The software is compatible with both MAC, PC and IOS and Android tablets.

WATCH THIS VIDEO TO LEARN HOW TO SET YOUR BIKE UP WITH SPIVI OR FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW.

In order to take part you will need:

  • A USB ANT + receiver, (Mac/Windows) or via the internal Bluetooth (Mac, iPad, and most Android tablets), or using a BLE dongle (Window PC).
  • Access to a PC, MAC or tablet to download the software
  • An indoor bike with sensors
  • We also recommend external speakers or headphones to hear properly as the audio will be coming through your PC, MAC or tablet.

To download the software please log into your Spivi Account with the same password you usually use here: http://spivi.com/download and follow the instructions.

Once you have completed the installation you will need to do the following to pair your trainer:

Step 1: Log into the Spivi software to access the main menu screen below:

Step 2: Select the "hamburger" or three lines on the bottom right and the following page will appear.

Choose the paperclip or pairing option.

Step 3: Ensure all necessary USB (ANT+/BLE) receivers are connected to your computer.
Not sure which receiver you need? Click HERE to learn more.

Step 4: Ensure all fitness equipment is installed and ready to be paired.

  • If you plan to use an external cadence sensor, make sure that it is already installed on your bike.
  • If you want to pair an ANT+ compatible heart rate monitor, be sure to turn the heart rate monitor ON and wear it.

Step 5: A list of all detected sensors will appear.

Step 5: Click on each sensor that is relevant to your bike and heart rate monitor, and select “Pair” to pair the sensor to the software.

Once succesfully paired, you will see a green line above the paired button.

You are now set to go. Return to the main menu by clicking on the home icon in the bottom right hand corner.

When you have booked into a class, access the software 5 minutes before the class is about to start. You will see a link to join the Njinga class. If nothing is showing on your screen, make sure you are correctly logged in. Click join and enjoy the class. You will be able to hear the audio via your PC or MAC so make sure you have external speakers or headphones handy.

There will also still be a Zoom link sent for each class. We recommend you use your phone or other tablet to access the Zoom video and your PC/MAC for the Spivi data.

If you have any issues downloading or accessing the software, please email info@njingacycling.com
