Ninga Annual Santa Charity Cycle

In Aid of the Shooting Star Children's Hospices

Help us put a smile on the children's faces this Christmas

Help us spread a little joy and festive spirit this Christmas time by joining our FREE Santa Charity Cycle in aid of the Shooting Star Children's Hospices.

After the HUGE success of our 6th Annual Santa Charity Cycle last year, we are hoping to build on this and are organising an even more ambitious event this December!

The Santa Charity Cycle has grown year on year from humble beginnings 6 years ago to now being an annual must do activity on the London Festive season calendar. Last year, we had over 90 dedicated Santas give up their time and brave the wet weather by joining us to cycle the relaxed 20km to deliver presents to the hospice for the fully deserving children, all of whom have life limiting illnesses. In addition to the presents we raised £5671.19 - Our largest total EVER!

This year we have even bigger targets of reaching 200 cycling santas and raising £10,000. We really do hope that YOU will be able to join us in order to help change the lives of some truly extraordinary children and their families. So why don't you join us this Christmas and help us to spread the festive spirit.

  • Sponsorship - We have a JustGiving page set up to raise as much money as we can for the Shooting Star Chase. About the Shooting Star Children's Hospices

Shooting Star is a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.

They support families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement. This bespoke support is free of charge to families and available 365 days a year. Their care service includes short breaks at their two hospices, Hospice at Home, day care, symptom management, end-of-life care, bereavement care and a comprehensive range of therapies and support groups for the whole family.

It costs £10 million a year just to maintain their current level of care. Around 10% of that income comes from government funding, so they rely on supporters’ generosity to keep the service running. What’s more, they know there are many more families desperate for vital support, so it’s crucial they raise more funds to provide more care.
